the mappocket notebook
hardcover blank book, purchased in the souvenir shop of an islamic arts museum, 20 February 2008. the book cover is a map of the East Indies, by J. Hondius and published in Amsterdam 1606.
the pages are very very white, and for awhile it was the book I always kept in my bag when I went out. more often than not, friends fill up the pages. it also was the book I took with me onstage when I performed at readings.
was not filled in sequentially, so the entries are all mixed up.
